I can’t believe that the 4th of July is only a month away! The fourth is one of my favorite holidays to shop for – I love finding the perfect red, white, and blue look! Today I’m sharing some American-inspired styles that are perfect for the holiday. Last year I wore this red/white dress with some blue heels on the 4th and while wandering around beautiful downtown Charleston! The weather is always perfect on the 4th and I love finding a lightweight dress to wear. Below are some pieces I’m deciding between for this year!

First Day of School Outfit Ideas

I always love picking out my first day of school outfit. As a Junior in college, I only have two more last days of school…what!? Thankfully since I have so many different classes, I technically have a couple “first days” this week. In case you’re starting school soon (or just love fall clothing), I’ve created a lookbook featuring lots of pieces that would be adorable for your first day.

The first day is always so exciting! I love seeing old friends and meeting new ones – and love wearing all of my new school clothes! In the lookbook at the bottom of this post I added lots of dresses, skirts, tops, sweaters, and shoes that would complement your fall wardrobe perfectly. All of those items would be so cute to wear on the first day!!

In the photos below i’m wearing a BP cardigan, this striped dress, and paired it with some gold wedges (almost sold out, similar here). I’m in love with the striped dress and think it would be perfect for school! Since it does have spaghetti straps, I added a cardigan to make it dress-code appropriate, and because I’m always cold (especially in classrooms). It’s still fairly warm in Seattle, so I will be wearing wedges as much as I can until the weather gets colder. If it were cold already, I would pair this outfit with some booties.

!! 10 Bright Colored Dress Under $50 !!

I’m constantly online shopping in search of new dresses. Whether I’m sitting in class or in bed watching Gossip Girl, I most likely am also on Revolve, Asos, Vici, etc. Spring is my favorite time of year for dresses. I love finding pretty floral or bright-colored dresses to wear with some heels, sandals, or booties. Today I’ve found 10 beautiful bright-colored dresses all under $50 to share with you!

The dress that I’m wearing in the photos below is the Barbie Cold Shoulder Dress. The color is so bright and I absolutely love it! It definitely stands out. I paired it with my Chanel bag and some black heels.
