I recently had the opportunity to visit Palm Springs for the first time and stayed at the most beautiful hotel while visiting! My mom and I flew to California for a few days of r&r and were absolutely blown away by Parker Palm Springs. From the second we got onto the hotel property we were in awe of every detail! I’m so excited to share my full review of the hotel.
The Hotel Room:
We stayed in one of the Poolside Rooms which featured a beautiful private patio that had a lovely seating area and easy access to the pool. The room was decorated beautifully and we truly felt like we were in a magazine! The bed was incredibly comfortable and I found myself ordering room service a few times to avoid leaving it.
The Hotel Property:
Designed by Jonathan Adler, the entire property is photo-worthy and very inspiring. I loved wandering around and seeing all of the creative details! For breakfast we ate at Norma’s on most mornings. I have had Norma’s before (at Parker in New York) and it’s always been one of my favorite restaurants. I highly recommend it! The hotel has two different pools – an adults-only pool & one where kids are welcome. We loved this aspect & found ourselves at the adults-only pool on most days. We loved enjoying our lunch pool-side each day and also sitting at the *adorable* Lemonade Stand. On one afternoon I treated myself to a massage at the Palm Springs Yacht Club, located at the hotel. The inside of PSYC is breathtaking (to say the least). You’ll find an indoor pool, two jacuzzi’s, a sauna/steam room & more. Another aspect of the hotel that I loved was that they had complimentary bikes available for hotel guests. I truly felt like I was in paradise & never ran out of things to do or see.
Location:
The hotel is located only 2.5 miles away from Palm Springs International Airport, making it a super quick trip over. I always dread the cab ride from the airport to the hotel because they are typically long, but this was perfect! When you arrive at the hotel you truly feel like you have been transported to another world. If you do plan on leaving the resort for other restaurants/shopping it’s a short drive from everything.
